WTCC Race of Italy

28.04.2017 - 30.04.2017
Monza, Italy

A brand new concept was presented at the second round of the FIA WTCC: The eSports WTCC, powered by RaceRoom, Eurosport Events and KW Suspensions. A championship consisting of ten online rounds and four on-site events following all the European rounds of the real championship. And the action was on immediately. 16 simulators were built up in the paddock, ready to race!

On track, the real WTCC drivers immediately set the pace in qualifying. Daniel Nagy was in front first, but Esteban Guerrieri fought back and claimed the pole position. But in the race, the qualificants took control. In the end, Bence Neszvecsko won the event ahead of Janos Zsinor and Aurelien Panis, the best performer of the real WTCC drivers.
